The weather has been glorious recently and although we’re having a spell of rain right now, the sunshine is due to return next week. I decided to prioritise getting our garden ready so that we can sit outside and enjoy it.
Our new BBQ from Argos arrived today and it was super simple to build. I also ordered a cover for it to keep it in good condition. James makes the best homemade burgers that I’ve ever tasted so I’m looking forward to using it next week!
I also ordered some blackout curtains as the curtains that came with the house were letting too much light in. It’s not too much of an issue in winter but when the sun rises at 4:30am, it messes with our sleep. The curtains I bought are in the shade, Dove Grey, also from Argos. Here’s a before and after:
We’re slowly adding our own personal touches to the house. Eventually, I’d like to buy some frames and start hanging some pictures on the walls.
