BLOGTOBER: My perfect Autumn night in

As the evenings get darker and colder, I’m much more likely to want to stay in than go out. If I could plan my perfect night in, it would go something like this:

18:00 Dinner time. I love warm comfort food at this time of year so for dinner I would make a vegetarian stew with dumplings and quorn sausages. (I’m going to experiment with this and will hopefully be able to bring you a food post with a recipe!)

19:00 Stuffed from dinner, I would change into some fluffy pjs and curl up on the sofa with my huge blanket, James and Clover. In my ideal world, we would have a real, working fireplace which we could light as we watch a couple of episodes of a series.

21:00 Time to get ready for bed and grab a book to read.

21:45 I’m an early to bed, early to rise kind of gal so by 10pm, I’m usually chatting with James until I fall asleep.

It’s a simple evening, but that’s what I enjoy. Most of the time, it’s raining in Britain in October so I’m more than happy to stay indoors where it is warm and dry. Speaking of rain, the next Blogtober post will rainy day activities!

What’s your favourite way to spend a night in? Let me know in the comments!

  1. WHERE IS THE HOT COCOA?! Love the idea of curling up in front of a real fireplace…

If I’ve had a stew, I may be too full for a hot cocoa too! But I’ll keep it in mind, just in case 😉
