Good morning reader!
Despite the topsy turvy weather this weekend, we decided to go ahead with our BBQ. The weather forecast couldn’t make its mind up but luckily, once we set up our garden furniture, it was sunshine all afternoon. My shoulders even burned!
We had a great day and James’ burgers were amazing as always. He has his own homemade burger recipe which is delicious. We also had chicken drumsticks, salad, oven chips and doritos with dip. I managed to salvage my banana and chocolate chip muffins so that they looked edible. Did you see that cooking catastrophe yesterday?
The day was wonderful but I was exhausted by the end of it. I love hosting and I put all my energy into it to make sure it’s as perfect as possible. I’m really looking forward to being able to see more friends again and eventually get up to Leeds to see my family.
